Melissa, a Tampa native, has nearly twenty years of experience in the medical field and has worked in a variety of fields throughout that time. She was a phlebotomist and ER nurse at Brandon Regional Hospital for a combined ten years, was a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Tampa General Hospital for two years, spent two years as an ER nurse at Mitchell County Hospital in Camilla, GA, and was a Pre-Op/Recovery Nurse for four years at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA. She holds degrees in both Nursing and Nuclear Medicine Technology.
She has lived in Tennessee, Ohio, Georgia, Louisiana, and is finally back home here in Florida. She enjoys reading, music, and outdoor activities like walking, hiking, and horseback riding. She is incredibly passionate about animal rescue and currently has three adopted fur babies at home.
